Waters Edge Ring is the stand alone sister of Waters Edge Bracelet. There is some redundancy between the two, but the challenge of scale and addition of fusing 18k gold dust, as well as flush setting stones, makes it a welcome addition.
Waters Edge Ring is an organic shaped wrap ring with sculpted edges made of fused Argentium silver and 18k gold. You create contrasting textures and colors with fused dust in both the silver & gold as well as learning flush setting a small facetted stone. The ring is slightly anticlastic formed.
You'll learn these skills:
Texturing
Fusing both Argentium & 18k gold
Anticlastic forming
sculpting organic edges
Flush stone setting

It is a slight shape but it makes such an impact. I forgot one time and had to go back and re-form my ring because I was disappointed with out it.
Flush Setting is a valuable skill. It's really very simple but requires practice to be quick and get it right. Learn with calibrated size stones (machine cut CZ are perfect: tough, cheap and all the same size!!)
